• Just a quick note to let you know how impressed I am with our recent purchase of our Noble 685m Centre Cabin Hardtop. We took it out on the maiden voyage in the trailer boat competition at Port Stephens a few weeks ago and the boat handled like a dream. I am so impressed with the boat that I don’t have anything negative to say about the product, it would have to be the best plate boat on the market. If your industry is like mine, you all too often hear the complaints and never get told the good stories. Jim and I could not be any happier with our decision.

  • Early this year we took delivery of our Noble 685 Centre Cabin Hardtop, powered by a Yamaha F250 4 stroke. Needless to say, it has delivered on all of those requirements, plus many, many more! The Deep-Vee hull is fantastic!Offering a soft and dry ride that is still stable at rest. The Noble 685m regularly get taken 50km+ offshore, and I feel completely safe doing so. This combined with a team that will bend over backwards for you, mean I would not think twice about recommending a Noble boat to anyone in the market. Do yourself a favour and go for a ride in one!

  • Arrived home this morning with the boat and I’m very pleased with it. (Drew a lot of attention at the service stations when filling up) Haven’t had a chance to get it wet yet but it won’t be long. I would really like to thank you for all your patience and help with this boat. I sincerely wish you the very best with Noble boats and if you’d like I’ll send some pictures and info on how the boat is going.

  • Just back from a sea test in a 6.25m Centre Cabin. I was very surprised with the way these hulls react driving over swells. We headed out the Gold Coast Seaway and it was approximately 1.4m swell with a 10 knot wind chop. The way the design works when you head over a swell and then fall back down there is no big slap or bang instead the hull cushions the hull with its double reverse chine design. I was very impressed and can’t wait to see how the 7.5m will be like. I have been told it will be much the same just more sure footedness. The Noble rides high off the water, well higher than the Seafarer. It was powered by a 150 E-TEC and I believe it would have been better off with a 200hp but maybe that’s just me having driven twin 115’s the last 3 years. As a stern glass is best believer I am quickly coming around, maybe it’s more about the design of this hull but it surely impressed me. We drove around outside hard, there wasn’t going to be any pussy footedness and I have returned without a compressed spine. We drove in all directions over swell at speed and boat went very well. One thing I did notice is water is noisier against a plate boat and you get engine noise through the boat too which is something I never got in my Seafarer.
